A series of garments exploring the visual contrast between colonisers and groups of people that have been colonised. The project began by researching various southern African cultures such as the Herero tribe of Namibia, school and first world war military uniforms. the result is a pair of lazer cut nylon pants, a boxy fit heavy cotton shirt and a bias cut draped trench coat, all of which are made from deadstock fabrics.
